I am sorry your job was stolen from you. It has been this way for a few decades now ever since some tosser decided that MBAs should run companies and everyone agreed as they saw stock prices rise on the back of it. Sadly, they view people as replaceable if they have the same job title, regardless of experience, knowledge, language, attitude, and problem solving skills. One day when it is too late they will understand the reason stuff, products, services, etc. have become and continue to be shite is because they let the good people go to save a few bucks at the price of the enterprise.

Thanks, it sure is annoying going back to job hunting. The old saying about people being promoted to the level of their true incompetence really seems to be true! It's all very short-term thinking and eventually the whole thing will fall apart, but investors just want to make sure they're not holding the ball when that happens

I surveyed electrical substations in the UK. The SAPs, Senior Authorised Persons were made redundant on privatisation of the National Grid by the firm that purchased it.

Because they had the knowledge no one else had they had to be reemployed!

Sorry to hear that. Such things are alway unpleasant. I hope you find a much better replacement.
