Western media and disgusting western war hawks like Lindsey Graham have been wetting their pants about Ukraine’s incursion into Kursk region, even suggesting that it might represent a turning point in the war. This is absolute drivel. The incursion into Kursk is being talked about like it was a military success because they breached the Russian border, which is no doubt embarrassing for the Russian military, but what the Ukrainian troops did once they got to Kursk (or rather, Sudzha) had nothing to do with a military victory and everything to do with terrorism and looting.
Residents of the Rylsky district of Kursk said on Sunday 11th August, after an assault on their area, that Bradley vehicles fired at residential houses, the Korynevsky district is heavily damaged, and there were Polish mercenaries among the attackers:
But that’s just Russian propaganda, right? Those people might be acting, right? Obviously they’re not, but being Fair And Balanced means assuming that they could be, since disinformation is prevalent these days. So what were the Ukrainians themselves posting while they were in Kursk?
On August 11th, an AFU serviceman filmed an interaction with a confused 74 year old grandfather who was lost, having gone missing from his home in Zaoleshenka. He mockingly calls him ‘Ivan’, and says “Du bist Russischer schwein”:
Why say that in German? Look at the helmet the other soldier in the video was wearing:
Remember, ‘Nazis in Ukraine’ is just Russian propaganda, even when it’s AFU servicemen wearing Nazi insignia and insulting Russians in German. The person who posted the video said that the old man was shot after the video was filmed, but that wasn’t confirmed by his family, who were still looking for him as of August 16th.
A member of the AFU posted a video outside a supermarket on Monday 12th August, complaining about the lack of variety of goods available:
Slava Ukraini, right? Here’s what they got up to inside the supermarket:
And posed for photos of course:
It wasn’t all childish fun and games, though. They abducted and abused civilians as well, as evidenced by footage found on a body camera:
This is the force that we were told was going to turn the tide in the war, sweeping through Kursk region and pushing back Russian artillery. The soldiers look more like a bunch of hooligans who just want a reason to brutalise people and sow chaos. Zelensky’s aide and long-time buddy Mykhailo Podolyak stated that they weren’t planning on occupying territory, “only destroying military facilities”. “Ukraine will not wage war on the civilian population”, he assured us.
The Russian military being a serious military, they have cleared out most of the Ukrainian troops that were part of this assault. There are many grisly videos of destroyed armour, surrounded by the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers. The soldier who made the video outside the supermarket and then played cashier, however, they managed to capture:
He and another militant were interviewed by Chechen general Apti Aloudinov about what they thought they were doing, and about the men thrown into the back of a truck:
Another Ukrainian soldier who surrendered to the Russians was interviewed, and said that the operation into Kursk was described as Ukraine’s last hope, intending to reach Belgorod and cut off a force advancing from the Minsk direction (it’s debatable whether there’s any truth in that). He says that they were given orders to shoot unarmed men in the legs and leave them in basements, and to kill anyone armed. He also says that he heard English, Polish and French on the radio:
The guy looks like he’s coming down pretty hard off something, which would tally with the various reports of Ukrainian soldiers being given drugs, probably amphetamines or meth.
When the western media talks about ‘victories’, this is what they’re promoting. It’s sordid, vulgar and thuggish, and it only serves to further galvanise Russians against the toxic influence coming from the west.
