Gonzalo had more balls than anyone. We lost a noble man. As the darkness descends upon free expression. we count the days until they come for us. You, my friend, are carrying the torch of liberty though the murky dusk of totalitarianism. Due to my own illness I am too strapped for cash to support all those fighting the good fight, but rest assured your words give me strength to speak up when I am able. You are doing a great service in the name of all things righteous and good. God bless.

Thank you. I'm not asking for any money for this blog, I just want people to see what is going on that our absolutely despicable mainstream media assures us is 'disinformation'. I've never been as sure as I am now that we live in what Putin called the Empire of Lies, and Gonzalo was just one of many voices that it had to shut down

To be honest, he seemed like controlled opposition for the longest time. Why was he arrested once and then let go? A lot of unanswered questions there, I think :/

I speculated on this (and it is just speculation) in my other long post about him. I agree that it certainly seemed suspicious at the time, but he was getting some very minor public attention then, which I think is probably all that saved him from jail, or death. Although his post-release content was a lot less controversial, he never recanted the earlier stuff he said. I even wonder if the authorities might have put him in isolation and encouraged him to make increasingly unhinged videos, to discredit his earlier videos, which were very focused.

I suspect that he lost this minor privilege once the powers that be realised that it was only a tiny minority on the outside that knew about him, and those that didn't could very easily be persuaded that he was just a "sleazy dating coach"

Very well put.

Regardless of what the man may or may not have been, he was a journalist, one that wasn't afraid to report from the actual place he talked about. A flawed individual, perhaps, but one who had not the backing of a propaganda machine to protect him, but only his own strength of will.

His is a loss to us all.

We can all be classed as 'flawed individuals' by someone actively looking to discredit us. If I'd come across him in his Coach Red Pill days I would have dismissed him as a misogynist bore, but that has no bearing at all on what he said later
